How can I learn more about the program?

Connected Growth & Wellness is a Michigan-based Equine Assisted Counseling program that serves kids, adults and families. Our staff brings decades of experience with horses, clients, and PATH training and certification. Our clients report that there are a lot of options out there, but that we are one of the only options in the area that uses the best practice of a licensed mental health professional and certified equine specialist (or a therapist that holds both credentials) in our experiential learning, workshops and equine assisted counseling. PATH stands for the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International, the organization that has set the standard since its inception in 1969 and currently serves over 60,000 participants per year. In addition to the direct services we offer, Connected Growth & Wellness also holds bi-annual trainings for therapists, instructors and horse professionals using PATH’s curriculum, and supports them in logging hours toward certification.
